Important Legal Agreement
These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ShareMy. Key points:
- •You must be 18+ years old to use ShareMy
- •ShareMy charges zero commission but payment processing fees may apply
- •Disputes may be subject to binding arbitration
- •We may modify these terms with notice to users
1Acceptance of Terms
- •By accessing or using ShareMy, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service
- •If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services
- •We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time with notice
- •Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms
- •You must be at least 18 years old to use ShareMy
2User Accounts
- •You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- •You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- •You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- •One person or entity may not maintain multiple accounts
- •We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
- •You may not transfer or sell your account to another party
3Listing Properties
- •You must have legal authority to list any property on ShareMy
- •All listing information must be accurate, complete, and not misleading
- •You are responsible for setting your own prices and rental terms
- •Photos must accurately represent the property and may not be misleading
- •You must comply with all local laws, regulations, and zoning requirements
- •ShareMy reserves the right to remove listings that violate our policies
4Payments
- •All rentals are contracts between the sharer and the sharee
- •ShareMy facilitates transactions but is not a party to the rental agreement
- •Payment processing fees may apply (though ShareMy charges zero commission)
- •Cancellation policies are set by individual sharers
- •Sharees must pay the full amount before accessing the property
- •Disputes regarding payments should first be resolved between users
5Zero Commission Policy
- •ShareMy does not charge commission fees on rental transactions
- •Sharers keep 100% of their rental income
- •Standard payment processing fees from third-party processors may apply
- •This zero-commission policy may be modified with 30 days notice
- •Premium features or services may be offered for additional fees
- •We reserve the right to introduce new fee structures with advance notice
6User Conduct
- •Users must treat all parties with respect and professionalism
- •Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior is strictly prohibited
- •Users may not use ShareMy for illegal activities or purposes
- •Spam, phishing, or fraudulent activities will result in immediate termination
- •Users must respect intellectual property rights of others
- •Off-platform transactions to avoid fees are prohibited
7Sharer Responsibilities
- •Maintain property in safe and habitable condition
- •Provide accurate availability and honor confirmed rentals
- •Respond to rental requests and messages in a timely manner
- •Comply with all applicable laws including safety and tax regulations
- •Maintain appropriate insurance coverage for your property
- •Handle guest issues professionally and in accordance with local laws
8Sharee Responsibilities
- •Treat the property with respect and care
- •Follow the house rules established by the sharer
- •Report any damage or issues immediately
- •Use the property only for the stated purpose and number of occupants
- •Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- •Leave the property in the condition you found it
9Liability & Disclaimers
- •ShareMy is a platform and is not responsible for user conduct or property conditions
- •We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings or user representations
- •Services are provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind
- •We are not liable for damages arising from use of the platform
- •Users assume all risks associated with property rentals
- •Maximum liability is limited to fees paid to ShareMy in the past 12 months
10Dispute Resolution
- •Users should first attempt to resolve disputes directly with each other
- •ShareMy may provide mediation services but is not obligated to do so
- •Binding arbitration may be required for unresolved disputes
- •Class action lawsuits are waived (where legally permissible)
- •Legal disputes are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction]
- •Users agree to venue and jurisdiction in [Location]
11Intellectual Property
- •ShareMy and its logos are trademarks owned by ShareMy Inc.
- •Users retain ownership of content they upload (photos, descriptions, etc.)
- •By uploading content, you grant ShareMy a license to use it on the platform
- •Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute ShareMy's proprietary content
- •Report copyright violations to our designated DMCA agent
- •Repeat copyright infringers will have their accounts terminated
12Termination
- •Either party may terminate the user agreement at any time
- •ShareMy may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms
- •Upon termination, your right to use the platform immediately ceases
- •Certain provisions survive termination (liability, disputes, etc.)
- •You may download your data before account deletion
- •Refunds for terminated accounts are handled case-by-case
